Too many churches experience unhealthy pastoral transitions and as a result pastors are hurt, church leaders are hurt and church members are hurt, not to mention the collateral damage done to the witness of the gospel when churches experience the inevitable conflict that arises in these unhealthy transitions.

While it’s impossible to guarantee a healthy pastoral transition, there are ways for churches to be better equipped to manage the complexities involved in moving from one pastor to the next.

Trinity Pastoral Succession Consulting exists in order to provide a template of principles and corresponding strategies to pastors, church leaders and congregations during the season prior to a pastoral transition which can help the church develop healthier transition pathways in advance of the actual transition process.
